Htoo Foundation presents prizes to outstanding students

YANGON, 1 Sept-Htoo Foundation presented prizes to outstanding students of families of Air Bagan Ltd who had passed the 2008-2009 matriculation examination at Air Bagan Ltd Head Office yesterday.

Managing Director U Kyaw Thiha of Htoo Group of Companies explained the purpose of presenting prizes.

Six- distinction winners Maung Wai Phyo Maung (Hsakaya-300), son of Capt Thein Zaw, Ma Khine Lei Yi (Kamaya-323), daughter of Capt Soe Moe, Ma May The Zar (Thagaka-81), daughter of U Kyaw Thet Win, Ma May Mon Moe Kyaw (Hsathawa-14), daughter of Daw New Ni Lwin, and five distinctions winner Maung Akar Sithu (Hsakaya-364), son of U Si Thu were given cash prize K 500,000 each. If necessary, cash assistance for education will be provided to the winners until their graduation.

On behalf of prize winners, Maung Wai Phyo Maung ranking third position in the whole country spoke words of thanks.

Htoo Foundation is now providing necessities for education, building schools in remote areas, sending outstanding students to institutes and universities at home and abroad, providing requirements for hospitals and clinics, making records on preservation of cultures and traditions of national races in the region and implementing regional development tasks.
