One innocent civilian injured in KNU’s mine blast

NAY PYI TAW, 30 Nov-Kayin national Naw Lay Thu Mu, 26 of Ngalauktat village in Kyaukkyi Township in Bago Region lost her right ankle in the explosion of mine planted by KNU on 28 November.

She stepped on the landmine on her way to pluck vegetables one and a half miles north of Mwaytaw village while visiting the village. The victim was admitted to Kyaukkyi Township People’s Hospital. Officials are providing necessary assistance to her.-MNA
