Sagaing Region Chief Minister’s Cup Inter-District Sepak Takraw Contest kicks off

NAY PYI TAW, 18 Aug-At the Sagaing Region Chief Minister’s Cup Inter-District Sepak Takraw Contest, Monywa District beat Khamti District 2-1 in the debut on 15 August, attended by Chief Minister U Tha Aye.

In the final match this morning, Shwebo District won over Sagaing District 2-0.

Region ministers awarded the prize winning teams.

On behalf of the Sagaing Region Chief Minister, Region Minister for Security and Border Affairs Col Kyi Naing presented championship shield to Monywa District team.

The Inter-University/ College Men’s Volleyball Tournament, jointly organized by Sagaing Region Sports and Physical Education Department and Monywa University, kicked off in Monywa Zone on 5 August.

At Monywa Gymnasium, the Chief Minister presented championship trophy and cash awards to champion Kalay University on 10 August.
