A
FILM aimed at educating people about HIV and AIDS will soon
be released in Myanmar under the title Hmyaw Lint Chint Myar
Swar (With Much Hope).
FOLLOWING
a two year sabbatical Iron Cross vocalist Zaw Paing is due
to release his fourth solo album on August 5. 
THEY
are an odd lot – a serene Japanese couple in
their fifties and an assemblage of young Myanmar kids
in athletic wear.
DIRECTOR
U Myo Min is not the only one using his status to get the
AIDS message across. Myanmar’s celebrities have readily
put their names to campaigns against HIV and AIDS over the
years.
BUGS
Bunny, Chicken Hawk, Sylvester the Cat, Tweetie Bird, and
other characters from Warner Brothers famous Looney Tunes,
may be coming to Myanmar television screens soon.
SAN
Minn, one of Myanmar’s few surrealist artists,
is exhibiting his work at Inya Gallery in Bahan township.
THE
first Indian film shot in Myanmar, Netaji Subhash
Chandra Bose-The Forgotten Hero, will premier in Yangon
on August 15.
