Minister inspects e-transfer services

Recently, MEB has introduced on-line system in Branch (1) Yangon, Branch (2) Yangon, Branch(3) Yangon, Branch(4) Yangon, Saving Branch(1) Yangon, Saving Branch (3) Yangon, Saving Branch (4) Yangon, Myanma Economic Bank Branch (1) and Branch(2) in Mandalay and Pyinmana Branch. As a result, speedy cheque-processing is now available at the said banks.  MEB has launched its pilot program of e-Transfer services in May 2007.  MEB has planned to expand the on-line banking program extensively. MEB promotes its efficiency not only by using modern technology but also by promoting efficiency of its staff through various training courses held domestic and abroad.
