Main functions of some sections are as follow:

1. Ministries and Departments Budget Section, State Economic Enterprises Budget Section and Cantonment Municipalities Budget Section -
   They prepare and implement the annual State Budget, Revised Estimate Budget, Supplementary Grant Budget and Non-budgetary for receipts and payments.

2. Foreign Exchange Control Section –
   It prepares Foreign Exchange Budget and processes Foreign Exchange applications of respective Agency and authorizes Foreign Exchange permits for the public sector in accordance with Annual Budget.

3. External Debt Section –
   It maintains External Debt Records of Loan Agreements, Repayment Schedules, Debt Service Projections, External Debt Position. It also provides data for Receipts and Payments of External Debt and Foreign Grants which have to be incorporated to the main Budget.

4. Financial Regulation and Service Regulation Control Section –
   It supervises financial rules and services rules of financial matters and service
